Laurent Perron founded  the first frozen drink machine rental company in south Texas in 1984.  As the original Margaritaman, Laurent recognized that using all-natural flavors and real fruit purees would separate the "margaritaman" flavor from all the artificial mixes currently available.  In 1986 Laurent introduced the Margaritaman line of bar mixes to the public at the Southwest Food Expo in San Antonio, and so began the franchise that now boasts over 60 locations nationwide and 18 great-tasting flavors.
